The Central Focus: Covenant
If you are going to get through the Bible in a short amount of time, for example a RCIA presentation, baptismal catechesis, beginning a bible study, a course in scripture or any other time when you review Salvation History this presentation would be appropriated. In any of those circumstances you don´t want to get through sacred history in a very brief amount of time, and that require focus and so the simplest focus that we´re going to employ is the focus on covenant.
Gen 1:26-28 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth." (27) So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. (28) And God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth."
